How do I book?

You can contact me here, via email or you can send me a message on my instagram or facebook page, where we can discuss potential dates and work out what sort of session you would like to book.

I will then send you 3 emails. A contract to sign, a questionnaire to complete, and an invoice. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to the date of your session.

What locations can we use?

Adelaide is a beautiful place, and there are a number of gorgeous outdoor locations that I can suggest. I am also open to exploring new locations if you have anywhere you would like to go, or somewhere that is special to you. We can also do in-home sessions as well if you would prefer to have photos taken in your own home or garden.

Please note that I live in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide, and a fee is applicable if I need to travel more than 30km to a location. Please see the Investment page for more information on fees.

What should I wear?

The most important thing is that you wear something that you feel comfortable in, something that you feel represents who you are and your own (and/or your families) style. You can go as casual or as ‘dressy’ as you like.

I often get asked about colour palettes, and for the style of photography that I tend to shoot, I would generally recommend to go with neutral colours, soft and ‘earthy’ tones. Essentially, colours that don’t demand too much attention, because the focus of the photos should be on the people in them. For this same reason, I would probably also suggest to try and avoid clothing with writing or big logos.

I also have a client wardrobe available for you to choose from. You can view this on my instagram page under my story highlights, or request images to be sent via email.

When will I receive my images?

I aim to get your images edited and sent to you within 3 weeks after our session. During the quieter season I may get it to you sooner than this. I will keep you informed, provide an estimated delivery timeframe and provide updates.

What if the weather isn't great on the day?

The weather can be quite unpredictable, however I am all for embracing different weather conditions. We can reschedule a session if the weather conditions are extreme or unsafe. (e.g. very heavy rain, storms, heatwave).

If you have chosen a beach location and it is too windy, then we may need to move to a different (nearby) location.

I will aim to reschedule (weather permitting) to a new date as soon as is possible, however there may be a slight wait depending on my volume of bookings at the time.

Do you provide RAW or unedited images?

Under no circumstances will I provide clients with RAW or unedited images.

All successful images from the session will be edited and provided to you in a client gallery for you to choose from, with the option to upgrade.

Editing is such an important part of the process, and without the editing the images are unfinished and do not represent my style or brand.

Are gift vouchers available?

Yes! If you would like to purchase a voucher to gift to friends or family, please contact me and I would be delighted to organise this for you.

Payment must be received before this voucher is valid. Vouchers can be purchased as a $ amount to be put towards any package, or they can be for a specific package (with upgrade options available). Vouchers are valid for 12 months.

How far in advance should I book?

I will usually share my availability up to 6 months in advance. To avoid missing out, or being limited to only a few available dates, book in a few months ahead. Bookings will only be held once a deposit has been paid.

What time of day do you recommend?

As the majority of my sessions take place outdoors, I will generally recommend we schedule in your session for the hour before sunset, or the hour as the sun rises, as this provides the most beautiful golden lighting. So, the time will differ depending on the time of the year.

If this timing doesn’t work for you or your family, then we can work out other suitable times based on your schedule, the chosen location, and my availability.

In-home sessions can be much more flexible with times.

What payment options do you offer?

A $50 deposit is required upon booking, with the remainder to be paid 1 week prior to the date of your session.

Payment plans are also available, just let me know upon booking.

Preferred payment method is direct deposit, and bank details will be provided upon booking.

How will I receive and choose my images?

You will receive a link to view an online gallery, via the email you have provided. This gallery will contain all the final edited images. Instructions will be provided on how to download and save these images. It is important you do this promptly, as they only remain on my gallery portal for 3 months and will then be removed.

Can I reschedule my session?

You understand upon booking and paying the deposit that I will secure this date just for you. If you are unable to proceed with your session and need to cancel, your deposit will be forfeited.

I do understand that life happens and some things cannot be avoided (such as covid, family emergencies, etc). In these cases I am happy to reschedule, however I make allowance for only 1 change of date. Any further changes to the date will require a new booking and another booking deposit be paid.

Will my images be posted online?

I tend to get very excited and love to share images from clients galleries (as well as sneak peaks) on my Instagram & Facebook pages, and on my website. However if you'd rather they remained private then I am happy to respect your decision, but it is important you let me know at the time of booking, or at our session.

Referrals

If a booking is made (and the session goes ahead) as the result of a referral, you will receive a $50 voucher towards your next session.
